Problem Possible cause Remedy
At the end of a
programme the in opera-
tion control light is
flashing rapidly;
the indicator lights next
to programme buttons 1
to 5 are flashing when
the door is open. There may be a technical
fault. – Switch the machine off.
Run another programme.
If the indicator lights flash
again at the end of this
programme, there is a
technical fault.
– Call the Miele Service
Department.
Knocking noise in the
wash cabinet The spray arm is knocking
against an item in the bas-
ket. Interrupt the programme,
rearrange items which are
obstructing the spray
arms.
Rattling noise Items of crockery are in-
secure in the wash cabi-
net. Interrupt the programme,
rearrange the items of
crockery.
Knocking noise in the
water pipes This may be caused by
the on-site installation or
the cross-section of the
piping. This has no influence on
dishwasher function. If in
doubt contact a suitably
qualified plumber.
