1.
Motor Rotation – Upon start-up, the pump "kicks" in the opposite direction of motor rotation. The correct rotation is counter-
clockwise (CCW) as viewed from the impeller end of the pump. Rotation direction for 3-phase pumps is changed by reversing
two of the power leads.
2.
Mechanical Oil Seal – Use a good grade 10 weight non-detergent hydraulic oil (i.e. Shell Turbo 32 or equivalent). Fill oil cavity
75% to 85% full (allow air space for expansion).
