4.1.5.3 Time Out Time
A Time Out Time may be programmed to limit the
length of continuous transmissions. If the Time Out
Time is exceeded, release PTT and wait for the
channel to be available again. The Time Out Time
may be set from 15-225 seconds in radio
programming.
4.1.5.4 Busy Channel Lockout
The radio may be programmed to inhibit
transmission while the channel is busy. Wait
until the channel is clear before transmitting.
