Section 3 - Monitor Controls and LEDs

1. Power Indicator: LEDs A, B, and C indicate the state of the Monitor.

• LEDs A, B and C On – Normal operations.

• LEDs B and C On – DPMS (Display Power Management Signaling)

“SUSPEND” mode. The monitor enters SUSPEND mode when the
computer turns off the Vertical Sync. signal. The monitor is in power-
saving mode and uses only 25 W.

• LED C On – DPMS “OFF” mode. The monitor enters OFF mode when

the computer turns off both the Horizontal and Vertical Sync. signals.
The monitor is in minimum power mode and uses only 5 W.

2. Power Switch: Turns monitor on ( | ) or off ( O )

3. Pincushion: Adjusts the pincushion (shape) of the display

4. Vertical-Position: Adjusts the vertical position

5. Vertical-Size: Adjusts the display height

6. Horizontal-Position: Adjusts the horizontal position

7. Horizontal-Size: Adjusts the display width.

8. Contrast Control: Adjusts the contrast. Turn clockwise to increase the

contrast.

9. Brightness Control: Adjusts the display brightness. Turn clockwise to

increase the brightness.
