PRIOR TO FIRST USE

Before using your travel kettle for the first
time (or following a long period without use),
it should be boiled 3 times.

1. Read the safety instructions through

carefully.

2. Ensure that the cord is fully extended.

3. Remove the extra accessories from

inside the kettle.

4. Check that the switch (13) on the

underside of the kettle is set to the
correct supply voltage.

5. Fill the kettle with water up to the

maximum filling level (MAX).

6. Pour out the water once it has boiled.

Repeat the process described under points
5-6 three times.

USING YOUR ELECTRIC TRAVEL
KETTLE

1. Remove the lid (6) of your travel kettle by

depressing the button on the lid (5) while
pulling the lid up.

2. Remove the extra accessories from

inside the kettle.

3. Check that the switch (13) on the

underside of the kettle is set to the
correct supply voltage.

4. Pour fresh water into the kettle. The

kettle must be filled to the MIN mark at
least, but no higher than the MAX mark.

5. Plug the kettle in and check that it is

switched on.

6. Press the On switch (2). The red

indicator light (14) comes on and the
kettle begins to heat up the water.

The water will boil within a few minutes,
depending on the amount of water in the
kettle. If you want to halt the boiling, switch
off at the wall socket and unplug. Once the
water is boiling, the kettle will automatically
switch off thanks to the integrated
thermostat. A click will be heard from the On
switch, and the indicator light will go out.
