When using the device the first time,
complete these tasks.
1. Charge the device (
page 1 ).
2. Turn on the device ( page 2 ).
3. Acquire satellite signals ( page 3 ).
4. Start a round ( page 3 ).
Charging the Device

To prevent corrosion, thoroughly dry
the contacts and the surrounding area
before charging or connecting to a
computer.
The device will not charge when the
battery is outside the temperature
range of 41°F–104° (5°C–40°).
1. Plug the USB end of the cable
into the AC adapter.
2. Plug the AC adapter into a
standard wall outlet.
3. Align all four contacts on the
back of the device with the four
posts on the charging clip
