RECIPES

ORANGE ROASTED ChICKEN
2 tbsp. softened butter
1 tbsp. chopped fresh chives
1 tbsp. diced fresh green onion
1 tbsp. chopped fresh oregano
1 tsp. grated orange peel
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp coarse ground pepper
1 small orange, quartered
1 green onion, cut in 1-inch pieces
3½ lb. chicken
Preheat Grill & Roast™. Meanwhile in small bowl, combine first 7 ingredients.

Using your fingers, lift skin away from meat of chicken. Rub seasoning mixture

onto meat and replace skin. Place orange and onion into cavity of chicken. Tie

legs of chicken together.
Using oven mitts and 2 wooden spoons, carefully place chicken into Grill &

Roast™ and set timer for 60 minutes. At end of cooking cycle, check chicken for

doneness. (Internal temperature of breast should be 170ºF. If necessary, add

additional coking time.)
Makes 3 to 4 servings.

ROAST BEEF WITh POTATOES
2 tsp. Montreal steak seasoning
1 tsp. seasoned salt
½ tsp. lemon pepper
½ tsp. herbs de Provence
½ tsp. dried thyme
¼ tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. olive oil
2½ lb. eye round roast
½ lb. baby Dutch potatoes
½ lb. peeled baby onions
Preheat Grill & Roast™. Meanwhile in small bowl, combine first 7 ingredients.

Rub seasoning mixture onto meat.

Using oven mitts and 2 wooden spoons, carefully place the beef into Grill &

Roast™ and set timer for 60 minutes. After 40 minutes, add potatoes and onions.

At end of cooking cycle, check beef and vegetables for doneness. (Internal

temperature of the beef should be 160ºF for medium. If necessary, add additional

cooking time).
Makes about 6 servings.

BREAKFAST STRATA
3 slices whole wheat French bread, cubed
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
¾ cup reduced fat shredded Cheddar cheese
¾ cup cholesterol free egg product
1 cup skim milk
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp dry mustard
¼ tsp. pepper
Preheat Grill & Roast™. Place bread cubes bake pan. Top with bacon and

cheese. In bowl or measuring cup, combine remaining ingredients. Pour evenly

over cheese.
Using oven mitts, carefully insert bake pan into Grill & Roast™ and set timer

for 30 minutes. At end of cooking cycle, eggs should be set. If necessary, add

additional cooking time.
Makes 4 servings.

SAUSAGE AND SAUERKRAUT CASSEROLE
2 tsp. oil
¾ cup chopped purple onion
1 large apple, cored and cubed
1 lb. turkey sausage, cut in 1-inch pieces
1½ cups sauerkraut
1 tsp. caraway seeds
Place bake pan in Grill & Roast™. Add oil. Close lid and preheat Grill & Roast™.

Add onions and close lid; set timer for 5 minutes.
Stir in remaining ingredients; close lid and set timer for 30 minutes. At end of

cooking cycle, check for doneness. If necessary, add additional cooking time.
Makes 4 servings.
