Dust Port
To install the dust port:
1. Place the dust port on the saw as shown in
Figure 8.
2. Secure it with the included Phillips head
screws.

Guide Post
The rack and pinion guide post can be easily
raised and lowered.
To adjust the guide post:
1. Loosen the guide post lock knob indicated by
the arrow in Figure 9.
2. Turn the guide post handwheel.
3. Tighten the lock knob.
Because the blade guard and the entire upper
blade guide assembly are attached to the guide
post, these items move up or down with the guide
post.
