Remote Control
DVD & VCR select buttons
Sets the remote control to operate either
the DVD deck or the VCR deck.
POWER
Turns the DVD+VCR ON and OFF.
TV/VCR
Switches between your TV tuner and the
DVD+VCR tuner.
DISPLAY
Accesses on-screen display.
Switches among the clock, tape counter
and tape remaining modes on the display.
1 1 2 2 3 3 4 4 (left/right/up/down)
- Selects menu items
- Selects channels on the VCR.
- Manually adjusts tracking.
SETUP/MENU
Accesses or removes DVD setup menu
and VCR menu.
TITLE
Displays the Title menu of the disc if
available.
PAUSE/STEP ( ; ; )
Pause playback or recording
temporarily / press repeatedly for frame-
by-frame playback.
STOP ( 9 9 )
Stops playback.
REC/OTR
Records normally or activates One
Touch Recording.
0-9 numerical buttons
Selects channels or menu items.
AUDIO
Selects DVD audio language or CD
audio channels (Stereo/Left/Right).
SUBTITLE
Selects a subtitle language.
REPEAT
Repeat chapter, track, title, all.
RETURN
Exits the setup menu.
RANDOM/SKIP
- Plays tracks in random order.
- Fast forwards picture search through
30 seconds of recording.
A-B/SP/EP
- Repeats sequence.
- Selects recording speed
SEARCH
Displays MARK SEARCH menu.
LAST CH
Displays last channel viewed.
EJECT
- Opens and closes the disc tray.
- Ejects the tape in the VCR deck.
TV VIEW
Cycles through the 3 main output views:
DVD, Tuner and VCR.
ENTER
Selects menu items.
DISC MENU
Accesses menu on a DVD disc.
INPUT
To select the VCR deck’s source (Tuner,
LINE 1, or LINE 2).
FF ( T T )
DVD; Searches forward* / skips to next
chapter or track.
VCR; Advances the tape from STOP
mode or for fast forward picture search.
PLAY ( 2 2 )
Starts playback.
REW ( S S )
DVD; Searches backward* / skips to
beginning of current chapter or track or
goes to previous chapter or track.
VCR; Rewinds the tape from STOP
mode or for fast reverse picture search.
* Press and hold button for about two
seconds.
PROG.PLAY
Selects or exits Program menu.
CLEAR
Removes a track number on the
Program menu or a mark on the MARK
SEARCH menu. Also clears VCR tape
counter settings.
ANGLE
Selects a DVD camera angle if
available.
ZOOM
Enlarges video image.
MARK
Marks any point during playback.
CHILD LOCK
Disables front panel keys.
