INTRODUCTION
Front Panel Controls

Remote Sensor
Point the remote control here.
Front Panel Display
Shows the current status of the DVD+VCR.
Disc Tray (DVD deck)
Insert a disc here.
Video Cassette Compartment (VCR deck)
Insert a video cassette here.
VCR deck includes Auto Head Cleaners, see
page 37.
DVD EJECT ( Z Z )
Opens or closes the disc tray to load
or unload discs.
Child Lock
The Child Lock feature disables the front panel
buttons (except EJECT) to prevent children from
tampering with the DVD+VCR. Simply press
CHILD LOCK on the remote control to toggle this
feature on and off.
VCR EJECT ( Z Z )
Ejects the tape in the VCR deck.
POWER
Turns the DVD+VCR ON and OFF.
VIDEO IN/AUDIO IN
(Left/Right)
Connects to the audio/video
output of an external source
(audio system, TV/monitor,
another VCR).
COPY
Copies a DVD in the
DVD deck to a VHS
tape in the VCR deck.
TV/VCR
Switches between your TV
tuner and the DVD+VCR tuner.
DVD/VCR
Switches control between the
DVD deck and the VCR deck.
REC
To record normally or
to activate One-Touch
Recording.
REW ( . )
DVD: Skips to start of current
chapter/track or to previous
chapter/track. Press and hold for
fast reverse search.
VCR: Rewinds the tape during
Stop mode or scans backward in
Play mode.
CH (v v/V V)
Scans up or down
through memorized
channels.
PLAY
Plays back a recorded
tape or disc.
FF( > )
DVD: Skips to NEXT
chapter/track. Press
and hold for fast-for-
ward search.
VCR: Fast forwards
the tape during Stop
mode or scans forward
in Play mode.
STOP ( x x )
Stops playback.
PAUSE ( ; ; )
Pauses playback
or recording
temporarily.
Press repeatedly
for frame-by-
frame playback.
DVD indicator
Indicates the active deck.
POWER indicator
Indicates the standby mode.
VCR indicator
Indicates the active deck.
