Maintenance and repair
General Inspection
Regularly check that all the
fixing screws are tight. They may
vibrate loose over time (Fig. P).
Maintenance
WARNING.
Always ensure that
the tool is switched off and the
battery pack is removed before making any adjustments or
maintenance procedures.
Store the tool instruction manual and accessories in a
secure place. In this way you will
always have all the parts ready
to hand.
Re-lubricate all moving parts at
regular intervals.
Remove dust and dirt regularly.
Cleaning is best done with a
soft brush or a rag. Wear safety
glasses to protect your eyes
whilst cleaning (Fig. Q).
CAUTION.
Do not use cleaning agents to clean the plastic
parts of the nailer. A mild detergent on a damp cloth is
recommended. Water must never come into contact with the tool.
Disposing of a battery pack
Discharge your battery pack by operating your nailer,
then remove the battery pack and cover the battery pack
terminals with heavy duty adhesive tape to prevent a short
circuit and energy discharge. Do not attempt to open
or remove any of the components of the battery pack.
