Motor Brace.
To install the guard support shaft:
1.
Place the threaded end of the shaft through
the hole in the back of the saw (
Figure 12
).
2.
Thread the shaft into the tilt assembly.
Motor Brace
The motor brace shown in
Figure 11
has been
installed for shipping purposes. Please remove
this brace before continuing with assembly. The
bolts that secure the brace should be screwed
back in at the locations from which they came.
3.
Slide the lower half of the bracket onto the
splitter shaft and temporarily tighten the
setscrews.
4.
Place the upper bracket half on the lower
half and secure both halves with the bolts
nuts and four washers as shown in
Figure
13
. Do not fully tighten the nuts at this
moment.
