Removal and Replacement Procedures
2. Loosen the two black PM2.0×5.0 screws 1 that secure the
hard drive cover to the computer.
3. Lift the left side of the cover 2 and swing it to the right.
4. Remove the hard drive cover.

The hard drive cover is included in the Miscellaneous
Plastics Kits, which are available using the following spare part
numbers:
■ 367765-001 (for use on HP Pavilion dv1400 models)
■ 367766-001 (for use on HP Compaq nx4820 and
Compaq Presario V2400 models)
■ 399236-001 (for use on Best Buy 1 models)
■ 409222-001 (for use on Best Buy 2 models)
