CPU Features Submenu of the Advanced Menu
The CPU Features submenu provides options for configuring the Intel SpeedStep power management features of the
CPU.

disabled, On Battery and On AC are disabled.
On Battery: ■ Maximum
Performance

■ Automatic

Optimized] When Maximum Performance is selected, CPU speed is maxi-
mized. When Battery Optimized is selected, CPU power require-
ments
are optimized for battery operation. When Automatic is
selected, the CPU speed is determined by the power source used.
