Spynamics (short for Spinal Dynamics)
chairs have been developed by Albion
Chairs and Steven Green, osteopath and
former lecturer at The British School of
Osteopathy.
These chairs incorporate a pelvic control system,
comprising:

A tilting seat, which, when angled forwards,
encourages the pelvis to adopt a neutral posi-
tion.
♦
A pelvic cushion, which gently holds the pelvis
in place. The detachable cushion comes in
three sizes or can be customised if required.
Additional features include:

A two-way (height & depth) adjustable lumbar
support.
♦
Mouldable ‘memory’ foam in the upper layers
seat and back upholstery.
♦
A coccyx cut-out in the seat cushion
♦
Sliding seat depth
♦
Adjustable tension seat tilt action
♦
Optional adjustable headrest on the ALBSD3
♦
Two types of optional arm rest
