Introduction
Votre épurateur d'air a été conçu pour vous offrir un environnement
agréable, où l'air est propre et où il fait bon vivre.
Les particules en suspension dans l'air sont captées au passage de
l'air dans l'appareil, par un processus d'électrofiltrage.
Remarque : Cette notice d'installation, d'utilisation et d'en-
tretien doit être lue complètement avant d'utiliser l'épura-
teur d'air. Conservez cette notice pour vous y reporter
ultérieurement.
Votre appareil peut ne pas être exactement comme celui illustré.
Fonctionnement de l'épurateur d'air électronique
L'air qui vous entoure contient des milliers de particules de pollu-
ants atmosphériques. Certains de ces polluants – poussière, fumée
et charpie, sont visibles à l'œil nu, mais la plupart – comme le
pollen et les bactéries, par exemple, sont microscopiques.
L'air pollué est admis par le
devant de l'épurateur d'air (fig-
ure 1). La poussière, la fumée
et le pollen se trouvant alors
dans l'air, subissent une charge
électrique positive en passant
par le compartiment d'ionisa-
tion (figure 2). Les particules
positivement chargées tra-
versent alors le compartiment
doté d'une cellule collectrice
(figure 2) qui consiste en une
série de plaques d'aluminium
chargées en alternance, pour
attirer puis capter les particules.
Ce compartiment fonctionne
comme un puissant aimant, les
particules restent donc captées
sous l'effet de l'adhésion
naturelle, jusqu'au moment où elles sont enlevées lors du lavage.
Finalement, l'air nettoyé électroniquement retourne dans la pièce
par la grille supérieure (figure 1).

Air Purifier Limited Five-Year Warranty
This limited warranty covers Trion by Fedders Air Purifiers.
Trion by Fedders warrants that all new Trion by Fedders Air Purifiers are free from
defects in material and workmanship under normal, noncommercial use and service.
Trion by Fedders will remedy any such defects if they appear within 60 months from
the date of purchase, subject to the terms and conditions of the Limited Five-Year
Warranty stated below:
1. THIS LIMITED FIVE-YEAR WARRANTY IS GRANTED BY CARECO, 415 WABASH
AVE., P.O. BOX 200, EFFINGHAM, IL 62401.
2. This warranty shall extend only to any noncommercial owner who has purchased
the appliance air purifier other than for purposes of resale.
3. In order to obtain the benefits of this Limited Five-Year Warranty, ship the air cleaner
to: CareCo Warranty, Gate 3, 415 Wabash Avenue Effingham, IL 62401. The unit
should be shipped freight prepaid. Upon receipt, CareCo will, at it’s discretion,
repair or replace any necessary parts or product.
4. Warranty work will be performed within a reasonable time, after notice of defect and
delivery to CareCo Warranty, subject to delays beyond CareCo’s control.
5. CareCo will not be responsible for loss of use of any product, loss of time,
inconvenience, or any other indirect, incidental or consequential damages with
respect to person or property, whether as a result of breach of warranty, neglect or
otherwise. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE LIMITATION OR
EXCLUSION IN THE PRECEDING SENTENCE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
6. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
7. Any warranty by CareCo of merchantability, fitness for use or any other warranty
(express, implied statutory), representation or guarantee other than those set
forth herein, shall expire at the expiration date of this express limited warranty.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED
WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE LIMITATION IN THE PRECEDING SENTENCE MAY NOT
APPLY TO YOU.
8. CareCo reserves the right to make changes in the design and material of its
products without incurring any obligation to incorporate such changes in units
manufactured prior to the effective date of such change.
