Monitor Speakers and 4 mix-down recorders.
Effectively adds a Monitor Section to your recording system
without adding an external mixing console and grants the
capability of routing the stereo signal to your various mix-down
recorders.
Additionally, the SRM-80A has been designed for the most critical
listening environments and delivers clean transparent audio.
DESCRIPTION
The SRM-80A has all the functions found in the Monitor
section on large recording consoles. Additionally the SRM-
80A gives you the routing capabilities needed to connect all
of your mix-down recorders.
Simply take the stereo outputs coming off your Sound card
or digital I/O, plug into the back panel on the SRM-80A. Plug
up to 3 sets of Monitor speakers into the back as well as your

l A single stereo source (usually the stereo L&R
mix coming out of your recording system or
DAW) can be routed to any of 3 sets of monitor
speakers and 4 mix-down recorders (such as
cassette, DAT, CD, and Minidisc Recorders)

Adjust listening volume of monitor speakers
without affecting the signal level routed to your
mix-down recorder.
l Route signal from one recorder to another
with the simple turn of a knob. Adjust listening
volume separately between 2 recorders.
l Connect 3 sets of Active (powered) monitor
speakers
l Inputs for a power amp allows one power
amp to drive 2 sets of Passive (non powered)
monitor speakers
l
Front panel headphone output with level control
l Output Select switches route the signal
between the 4 mix-down recorders for making
dubs or copies.
l Monitor Select function allows you to listen to
any device connected to the SRM-80A
l High quality 80 segment LED Meters. Choose
between Average and Peak style metering.
l Front panel trim controls to adjust for equal
loudness when switching between monitor
speakers
