UPS Output Details
Note: The outputs of the referenced SG 5 & 6kVA models are not configured for 208
or 240Vac split-phase operation. Output 1 (208-230Vac) is powered directly
from the UPS inverter while Output 2 (120Vac) is created from the inverter
output, through an isolation transformer. A new neutral for the 120Vac output
is derived at the output of the transformer. This configuration provides the
advantage of providing the full rated output of the UPS at output 1, output 2, or
a combination of both.

All UPS outputs are protected by fuses. Always replace these fuses with the same
type and rating.

To reduce the risk of fire, connect only to a circuit providing over-current protection incorporating the
specified "branch rated" over current protection device in accordance with the National Electrical
Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.
