Assemble elevator tubes (21) to ratchet (28) and backboard brackets (23) using bolts (20),
spacers (5, & 40), and nuts (42) as shown. Tighten completely.
5 . Secure pawl (19) in place with clevis
pin (31) and washers (6) as shown. 6 . Hook one end of the spring (36) into hole of
clevis pin (31). Stretch spring (36) and hook
it into the
notch of the bracket with pliers.
