Superior Flow Technology

Hellenbrand’s distribution plate has 56% more surface area
on 10” diameter systems than standard systems with a cone
type distributor, and runs the full width of the tank diameter
for significantly improved performance.
• Improved bed expansion in backwash provides

better cleaning of the bed.

• Less water is required to regenerate.

Premium 10% Resin

• We use premium 10% crosslinked resin vs. most of our

competitors that use 8% or less.

What does this mean?

• 10% resin is used for a lot of commercial applications,

because it is stronger and lasts longer. It resists mushing
and jelling from chemicals and physical breakdown.

• Damaged resin means you will use more salt and waste

more water when recharging the resin for softening.

• You also have better pressure over the life of your

softener.

Fewer Parts = Fewer Problems

• Modular Design

• Non-Corrosive Valve Body & Internals

• One Piece Seal Assembly

• No Nuts, Bolts, Screws or Micro-Switches

ProMate 6.5 Series - Simplicity with High Performance

The Hellenbrand ProMate 6.5 Electronic On Demand System
incorporates all of the best engineering features of our ProMate
6.0 Series with additional “High Performance” designs, that
provides higher capacities or more simply put “better gas
mileage” and less salt used.

We have incorporated small but critical design features learned
from months of testing to increase the operating efficiencies
(grains of softening capacity per lb. of salt used) to nearly
5,000 grains per lb. of salt using counter-current or upflow
regeneration.

• The PM6.5 uses upflow or counter-current regeneration,

passing the regenerate through unused resin at the bottom
of the tank, pushing the hardness minerals up through the
exhausted portion of the resin bed for a more efficient
regeneration.

• This allows the water leaving the tank during service to pass

through the most efficient zone at the bottom of the tank.

• Variable reserve automatically adjusts to your changing

water usage patterns for each day of the week, providing
added savings.

• This provides better salt efficiencies, better water quality

and less water used for regeneration.
