Troubleshooting
Before contacting a Samsung Service Centre or an authorised service centre, please
attempt the following solutions. Some situations may not apply to your product.
Product does not turn on
•
When the battery is completely discharged, your product will not turn on. Check the
battery before using the product.
•
The battery may not be inserted properly. Insert the battery again.
•
After wiping the terminals, try reinserting the battery.
Product freezes or encounters a problem
Try the following solutions. If the problem is still not resolved, contact a Samsung
Service Centre or an authorised service centre.
Restarting the product
If the product keeps freezing or slowing down, remove the battery and reinsert it.
Forcing restart
If the product is frozen and unresponsive, you can reset the product.
Insert the ejection pin supplied with the product or a clip into the battery tray hole, and
pull out the battery tray gently from the battery tray slot. After pressing and releasing
the button once, insert the battery tray into the battery tray slot while pressing the
button again. Hold the button for more than 7 seconds until the product makes a sound.
If the battery has not been properly recognised, the product will make a sound
immediately after inserting the battery. If this happens, try the method again.
