Using the Metronome/Rhythm
The Metronome is convenient for practicing with an accurate tempo. The Metronome sound features several
rhythms (page 26) as well as the conventional click sound.

Press [METRONOME/RHYTHM] to start
the Metronome.

Press [METRONOME/RHYTHM] again to
stop the Metronome.
While holding down [METRONOME/RHYTHM],
press one of the A0 – D1 keys or one of the Voice but-
tons.
* Refer to the “METRONOME” indications (- to 6) printed
above these keys.
While holding down [METRONOME/RHYTHM],
press one of the E1 – F2 keys.
For details on which Rhythm number is assigned to
each key, see “Quick Operation Guide” (page 29).
Setting Intro/Ending on or off
This adds an Intro/Ending to the beginning or at the
end of the rhythm section. You can enable (On) or dis-
able (Off) the sound of the Intro/Ending as desired.
While holding down [METRONOME/RHYTHM],
press one of the C6 – D
#6 keys.
Default setting: on
To increase or decrease the value by 1:
When the Metronome/Rhythm is playing back, press
TEMPO [] or []. When it is stopped, press
TEMPO [] or [] while holding down [METRO-
NOME/RHYTHM].
To reset the value to the default (120):
When the Metronome/Rhythm is playing back, press
both TEMPO [] and [] simultaneously. When it is
stopped, press both TEMPO [] and [] simultane-
ously while holding down [METRONOME/
RHYTHM].
To increase or decrease the value by 1 or 10:
While holding down [METRONOME/RHYTHM],
press one of the F
#3 – A#3 keys.
* Refer to the “TEMPO” indications (-10 to +10) printed
above these keys.
To specify a three-digit value:
While holding down [METRONOME/RHYTHM],
press the appropriate keys G
#2 – F3 one by one. For
example, press the G
#2 (0), F3 (9) and C#3 (5) keys in
order to specify “95.”
* Refer to the “TEMPO” indications (0 to 9) printed above
these keys.
While holding down [METRONOME/RHYTHM],
press the desired key between A-1 and F
#0. The
higher the key, the higher the volume.
Setting range: 1 – 10
Default setting: 7
* Refer to the “VOLUME” indications (1 to 10) printed
above these keys.
