the light, switch the electricity supply off at the fuse
box or remove the screw-in fuses from the fuse box.

TRIC SHOCK! For electrical safety the light must
never be cleaned with water or other liquids, or
immersed in water.

Replacing a bulb

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS! Switch the

light off. Allow the light to cool down completely
(at least 10 minutes).
Note: Use a clean, fluff-free cloth when you are
replacing a bulb

Always use 230 V ~ energy-saving lamps with

E 14 fittings and a maximum rated output of
9 watts.

Remove the glass dome

as described in

the section on “Installation”.

Remove the defective bulb

by turning it

anticlockwise and drawing it out of the socket

Insert a new bulb

into the socket

and turn it

clockwise. Check that the bulb is correctly seated.

Place the glass dome

back on to the light

body

“Installation”.

Cleaning

Use a dry fluff-free cloth when you are cleaning.

Do not use solvents, petrol etc.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of

recyclable materials, which you may
dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more
details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

Under no circumstances should the

device / article and its bulbs be disposed
of with normal household rubbish.

The device / article and its bulbs should be disposed
of at an officially approved disposal centre or at
your local communal disposal facility.

Observe the applicable regulations. If you are
uncertain of what to do please contact your local
authority’s refuse disposal department.
