Installation:
1. Remove the two position connector by pulling it away from the Wireless Relay main enclosure body.
2. Make wire connections by inserting desired cables into Relay Contacts and secure with flat head screws positioned 90 degrees from
wire openings.
a. Note: The normally open and common contacts of enclosed relay are connected to the two position connector unless
otherwise specified at time of order. The normally closed and common contacts can be connected to the two position
connector if requested.
b. Note: The Wireless Relay’s compact design is limited to 0.5 Amps, 120vac.
3. Reconnect the two position connector into the Wireless Relay module.
4. Apply power to the Wireless Relay
a. Insert power adapter barrel plug into round opening located on the side of the Wireless Relay unit.
b. Connect the two prong power adapter to a receptacle located near the Wireless Relay.
5. Wait for normal startup operation of the Wireless Relay.
a. Signal status LED will flash red and orange several times
b. Signal status LED will begin flashing green when startup is complete and a signal has been received.
6. Verify signal status
a. LED should continually flash green. Every minute a single red flash will indicate good reception when the system controller
is NOT in Quiet Mode.
7. Verify operation of the Wireless Relay by using the manual wireless function of the SiteSync IQ System Controller to activate the
Wireless Relay.
a. Starting at the normal operation time screen of the system controller, press:
1. MAN – Enter User Lock – 7
2. Verify circuit numbers are highlighted (press 0 to highlight)
3. MAN (to send message)
b. Verify relay active LED turns yellow within 5 seconds of the pressing the MAN key a second time.
1. Note: Transmission takes approximately 4 seconds to send.
c. Note: When the relay active LED is lit the relay contacts should be closed (unless a normally closed version is ordered).
Note:
• Wireless events are enabled from the Manual function in the SiteSync IQ system controller. Each Wireless Relay is programmed to run
from a wired bell circuit (default is bell circuit 1 unless otherwise requested).
• To run wireless events, enable wireless events transmission by highlighting circuits in the manual operation menu of the SiteSync IQ
system controller.
• If the SiteSync IQ system controller or Remote Transmitter is set to Quiet Mode, the Signal Status LED will flash green for 62 minutes
without a signal from the transmitting source.
