Power Failure Indicator
when the AC power is interrupted
(disconnected) for s short period of time,
both time and aiarm settings wiii change
(uniess optionai battery is irrstalied), After
AC power is restored (reconnected), the
Digital Dispiay wiil blink to indicate that
power was interrupted and you should
re-adjust the time and alarm settings.
This clock radio is equipped with a memory
holding system that can be powered with
9V battery (not included). The power
failure proterrtion circuit will not operate
unless battery is installed.
When normal household power is
interrupted, or AC cord is unplugged, the
battery will powerthe dock radio to keep
track of time and alarm settings
programmedintothememory.
Whenthe
battery backup functions, the digital
dispiay will not light, however, the
function of alarm stiii occurs during the
power interruption if remaining battery
power is adequate. Normal operation will
resume after AC power is restored so you
will not have to reset the time or the
alarm.
Install battery as below:
1. Remove battery compartment door
(1 ocated at th e botto moftheradio)by
applying thumb pressure to area
indicated on battery door and then lift
the door out and off the cabinet.
2.
Connecta9Vbatterytothe connector
plug.
3. Insert battery in the compartment and
replace the compartment door.

Setting time:
1. Press the SET button, the ” : " wiil flash
on the display.
2. Press
REV
or
FWD
Caito set the time.
3. AM or PM icon will show beside the
time.
Tip:
No icon will be f loshing if all selectors are
set, if you see any icon flashing on display,
press the SET button repeatedly to
confirm everything is set correctly.
