5.5 How to Clean the Tungsten Wire
If reduced print quality occurs, clean the tungsten wire of the drum unit
with a cotton swab.
Important;
The drum unit contains a photosensitive drum. Exposing it to light
may damage the drum.
•Do not expose the drum unit to room light or sun light.

To clean the tungsten wire follow these procedures:
Turn the power OFF.

Press clamshell release button. Clamshell will open automatically.

Carefully wipe the tungsten wire by sliding a cotton swab from end to end
4 to 5 times.

Close clamshell.
