Guide Plus+ & VCR Plus+ Recording
GUIDE Plus+ recording allows you to set up a timer recording quickly and easily for any program displayed in the TV GUIDE
Plus+ system. When the program you want to record is not listed in any of the TV GUIDE Plus+ modes, you can use VCR
Plus+ recording. If the start time for a GUIDE Ptus+ or VCR Plus+ Recording comes up while you are pushing the REC button
to start a normal or One Touch recording (page 35), the GUIDE Plus+ or VCR Plus+ recording will not be performed. To cancel
a normal or One Touch recording, push the STOP button.
\\Acheck list before you begin.
□ ah connections are made (see page 5).
□ Your Combination VCR is plugged in.
□ TV GUIDE PIUS+ setup is completed
(see pages 11"14).
□ Your Cable box is ON if used.
□ TV GUIDE Plus+ mode is terminated
if...
• power is turned off or power failure
occurs.
• Play or Rec mode is entered.
• entries are not made within 5
minutes.

GUIDE Plus-«- Recording Note:
If one of the following warning screens appears,
push the blue key and repeat steps 1 ^5, or
VCR Plus+ to return to the normal screen.
• The program type selected in step 5 is
not correct. A daily recording must be
broadcast Mon- Fri only.
• The recording time of the program you just
selected overlaps with a program already
in memory.
• There are already 14 programs stored
in memory.
