If a Dataram memory board does not function properly we will issue a
Return Material Authorization number (RMA#) for the return of the
defective module(s) and express ship a repair or replacement to you at
no charge.

FOR SUN FIRE T1000 AND T2000 SERVERS
SYSTEM AND MEMORY OVERVIEW
Note: Refer to your system owner’s manual for detailed instructions and be
sure to follow all static and safety precautions.
• The Sun Fire T1000 server has 8 DIMM slots arranged in 2 banks of
4. Memory must be installed in groups of 4 identical DIMMs. Valid
configurations are 4 identical DIMMs or 8 identical DIMMs.
• The Sun Fire T2000 server has 16 DIMM slots arranged in 2 banks
of 8. Memory must be installed in groups of 8 identical DIMMs. Valid
configurations are 8 identical DIMMs or 16 identical DIMMs.
• Each Sun original and Dataram memory upgrade will contain two
identical DIMMs.
