: Self-timer Settings: One-shot
AF/Evaluative metering
Use the self-timer function to delay shut­
ter release for 10 seconds and include
yourself in the picture. Place the camera
on a tripod, table, or other steady surface.
• Shooting mode is automatically set to
Program AE.
1) Set the command dial to “ (S) ”.
2) Compose the picture and press the shut­
ter button to start the timer while look­
ing into the viewfinder. A beeper tone
sounds to monitor the countdown. Two
seconds before the picture is taken, the
beeper tone sounds rapidly.
• Be careful not to stand in front of
the camera when you press the shut­
ter button.
• To cancel the self-timer, turn the
command dial to another position.
