7. Rigidity — CFT is very rigid and can operate at high flow rates and operating
pressures. However, because it is a ceramic, it is susceptible to mechanical
damage. While making slurries, be careful to minimize the generation of fines.
The use of mechanical stirrers at high rpm and stir bars should be avoided.
