Cleaning the Ink Cartridge
If the head of the ink cartridge is dirty or if the ink cartridge has not been used for a long period of time, it
may not print properly.
Cleaning the Print Head with the User Utility
Click the icon to open the Tr ūper User Utility, then click the Imprinter Cleaning button. The unit will
perform an automatic cleaning function to improve the print quality.
Cleaning the Print Head Manually
Remove the ink cartridge as described in “Removing the Ink Cartridge” on page 119 . Use a moistened
tissue paper to gently wipe and clean the print head.
Do not use the roller cleaning paper to clean the print head. Do not use any material that
contains alcohol when cleaning the print head.
