The Voltage Source in the upper circuit must have a voltage defined as to
allow an Excitation Voltage range on the transmitter within the 11 to 33 Vdc
limit.
The LOAD element in this circuit corresponds to the pressure meter. This
can be a digital indicator, a controller, a recorder, etc. The LOAD maximum
impedance can be calculated in relation to the voltage applied, according to
the equation below:
The 4 to 20mA output signal is the current flowing through the transmitter.
4mA corresponds to the lower pressure limit and 20mA corresponds to the
upper pressure limit. These limits are shown in the pressure transmitter
label .
