cradle. Record the lot number in the space provided below. Refer to
the model and lot numbers when you call your Sony dealer

Both a UK and a Continental power cord are supplied with the AC
adapter. Use the UK version only in the United Kingdom and
Ireland. The continental one can be used in all other countries.
Use the USB cradle only with the supplied AC adapter. To
disconnect your USB cradle completely from main voltage, unplug
the AC adapter.
Please make sure that the socket outlet is easily accessible.
This product complies with EN 55022 Class B and EN 55024 for use
in the following areas: residential, commercial and light industrial.
This product has been tested and found compliant with the limits
set out in the EMC Directive for using connection cables not longer
than 3 metres (9.8 feet).
You are cautioned that any changes or modifications not expressly

equipment.

Notes on use
• Do not subject the unit to:
– Extreme heat or cold
– Dust, dirt, or sand
– High humidity
– Vibration
– Strong magnetic fields
– Mechanical shock
– Direct sunlight (for extended periods of time)
• Do not drop the unit.
• Unplug the AC adapter from the AC outlet when not in use for
an extended period of time. To disconnect the power cord, pull it
out by the plug. Never pull the cord itself.
• Be sure that nothing metallic comes into contact with the metal
parts of this unit. If this happens, a short circuit may occur and
the unit may be damaged.
• Do not operate the unit if it has a damaged cord or if it has been
dropped or damaged.
• Always keep the metal contacts clean.
• Do not disassemble or modify the unit.
• While the unit is in use, it gets warm. This is normal.
• Keep the unit away from TV or AM receivers, as it may disturb
reception.
Cleaning
Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth or a soft cloth lightly
moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use any type of
solvent, such as alcohol or benzine, which may damage the finish.

• Débranchez l’adaptateur secteur de la prise murale si vous avez
l’intention de ne pas l’utiliser pendant une longue période. Pour
débrancher le cordon d’alimentation, tirez-le par la fiche. Ne
tirez jamais sur le cordon proprement dit.
