Your CLIÉ Handheld does not operate
properly
You cannot turn on your CLIÉ handheld
B The HOLD switch of your CLIÉ handheld is on.
Your CLIÉ handheld will not operate when the HOLD switch is on. Make
sure that the HOLD switch is off.
B The battery has run out.
Connect your CLIÉ handheld to the adapter with the cradle and turn on
your CLIÉ handheld after a few minutes. When your CLIÉ handheld turns
on, charge it. When the battery charge is done, perform a soft reset. (The
battery charge takes more than four hours normally.)
B The connector between your CLIÉ handheld and the cradle is dirty.
You cannot recharge your CLIÉ handheld if the connector is dirty. Try
re-installing your CLIÉ handheld several times in the cradle to clean the
connector.
The screen is not displayed though the POWER LED is on
B The HOLD switch of your CLIÉ handheld is on.
The screen will not be displayed when the HOLD switch is on
B Perform a soft reset by pressing the reset button.

No response to operations
B The HOLD switch of your CLIÉ handheld is on.
