Battery Replacement
1. Unscrew the banana jack using a 3mm
or 1/8” allen hex wrench,
2. Remove the end cap,
3. Separate housing and remove batteries,
4. Install (2) new AA batteries according to
the polarity diagram.
5. Reassemble in reverse and tighten the
banana jack.
(DO NOT OVER TORQUE)
Safety
Always wear eye protection when testing or
repairing vehicles.
Warning
A) Before opening the housing be sure the test
leads have been disconnected from all electrical
circuits.
B) Completely assemble the SCT before using to
avoid electrical shock hazard.
