• Plug into the mains socket. Switch the electric underblanket on at least one hour before going to bed setting the temperature control switch to

level 2 (maximum temperature). After about one hour, the bed will be pleasantly warm.

• If the room is very cold, turn on the electric underblanket two or three hours before going to bed.

• If you wish to keep the electric underblanket warm all night, turn the control to setting 1 (minimum temperature) when you go to bed. Do not use

setting 2 (maximum temperature). If you want to turn the electric underblanket off, turn the control to setting 0 and remove the plug from the socket.

wASHING INSTRUCTIONS

• Disconnect the wire from the temperature control unit before washing as shown in fig. (B).

• It is important to measure the electric blanket before washing it in order to verify that the dimensions are approximately the same while drying.

MACHINE wASHING

• The electric blanket can be machine washed at 40°C using a delicate program.

• Only the gentle spin cycle is to be used. Do NOT program an extra spin cycle.

wASHING BY HAND

• The electric blanket can be washed by hand at a maximum temperature of 40°C.

• Use a liquid soap for delicate garments (read the product dosage instructions).

DRYING

• Set the dryer at a low temperature.

• Hang the electric blanket without applying pegs on the electrical parts so as not to damage them.

Do NOT use the electric blanket until it is completely dry.

HANGING THE ELECTRIC BLANKET TO DRY

• The electric blanket must be hung to dry in the approximate original dimensions. The best results are obtained when it is still damp, pulling a

panel at a time from one end and the other. This may have to be repeated a number of times until the electric blanket is completely dry.

• Make sure the wires are not kinked or twisted. It is easier to check the wires by placing the electric blanket against the light.

• If problems arise with the wires after having hung the electric blanket or if it does not return to its original size, return it to an authorised Imetec

Service Centre for a safety check.
