Color System

AV1

Auto NTSC-M

PAL-N PAL-M

This should correspond to the color system of the signal from the
equipment that is connected to the AV1 video input terminal.
• Normally, set this to Auto. The system of the input signal will be

automatically recognized.

• If the input signal contains a lot of noise or has a low level at Auto and

the operation is erratic, set this to match the input signal.

• When the component signal is received, this setting is not available

(grayed out).

(Same to AV1)

AV4

Video Input

AV1

Auto HDTV SDTV/DVD

This should correspond to the signal mode of the signal from the
equipment that is connected to AV1 video input terminal.
• Normally, set this to Auto. The signal mode of the input signal will be

automatically recognized.

• If the input signal contains a lot of noise or has a low level at Auto and

operation is erratic, set this to match the input signal.

AV2 (1st step)

RGB Composite/Component

This should correspond to the signal mode of the signal from the
equipment that is connected to AV2 video input terminal.

AV2 (2nd step)

Auto HDTV SDTV/DVD

This step should be set only when [Composite/Component] is selected on
the 1st step. The procedure is same as for AV1.

AV4

S.Video Composite

• If the signal from the equipment that is connected to the AV4 Scart input

terminal is S.Video or Composite, set this to correspond to that signal.

• If the signal is RGB, it will be automatically recognized and this setting

will have no effect.
