Cause
Remedy
Problem
Image is unstable.
The image becomes
cloudy.
Cannot adjust focus or
zoom, or the vertical
position of the lens.
There is condensation on the DPX-1300.
[Lens Adjustment Lock] in the menu is set
to ON.
Switch the DPX-1300 power off until the
condensation disappears.
Set correctly.
Set [Lens Adjustment Lock] to off.
Press the MENU button to display the menu
and select [Setup]
[Lens Adjustment
Lock].
The connection cables are not correctly
attached to the connectors.
Correctly connect the cables to the
appropriate connectors.
The DPX-1300 does not
turn on.
The power cable is not plugged in.
You attempted to turn on The DPX-1300
immediately after turning it off.
The filter cover is not correctly attached.
The lamp cover is not correctly attached.
Wait for approximately two minutes.
•
To protect the lamp, you cannot turn on
power for two minutes after you turn it off.
Plug the power cable in firmly.
Correctly attach the filter cover.
Correctly attach the lamp cover.
No picture.
The lens cover has not been removed.
The DPX-1300 is not correctly connected
to the other components.
The input signal has not been correctly
selected.
The picture is turned off.
The computer is not set to display on the
external monitor.
Remove the lens cover.
Check the connections.
Select the correct input signal with the
INPUT button.
Press the AUTO button on the remote
control.
Use the menu to adjust the signal setting
to suit the input setting.
[Initial]
Press the HIDE button again to cancel the
HIDE function.
Set the computer to display on the external
monitor. (Refer to the computer operating
instructions.)
Press the FOCUS button, and adjust the
focus.
Adjust the projection angle and direction,
and the height of the DPX-1300.
Picture is blurred.
The lens is not correctly focused.
The screen and the DPX-1300 are not
facing each other directly.
When a component is
digitally connected to
the HDMI or DVI
terminal, white noise or
a black image appears.
HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content
Protection) testing failed.
Press the Auto button on the remote
control or unplug the digital connection
cable, and then insert the cable again.
