1. Pick up the handset. Press MEM .
2. Enter a number or press VOL or
VOL keys to select a memory location.
3. Press MEM or SELECT .
4. Press MEM or SELECT . (When there is
information already stored in the
selected memory location, ¨

5. Press 6. Then press #/> to move the
cursor to the right.

9. Press 3 five times.
10. Press 7 eight times.
11. When finished, press MEM or SELECT .
To continue to store the telephone number,
proceed to step 7 on “Storing Phone
Numbers and Names” on page 20.
If you make a mistake while
entering a name
Use /TONE/< or #/> to move the cursor to
the incorrect character.
Press CH/DELETE to erase the wrong
character. Then enter the correct character.
To delete all characters, press and hold CH/
DELETE .

If the next character uses
the same number key, you
must press #/> to move the
cursor over. Otherwise the
next time you press the
number key, it changes the
character that was
previously set.
