■Map Display menu
Map Orientation
This setting controls whether the map is shown with the driving direction upward, or with
North at the top.
Day/Night Map Display
To improve the visibility of the map during the evening, you can change the combination of
the colors of the map.
Display Areas to Avoid
This setting activates Area to Avoid being set.
Caution
When “Display Areas to Avoid” is turned Off, Area to Avoid will not be consid-
ered during route calculation. If you want a route calculation while avoiding
some areas, change the setting to On.
Tracking Display
The tracking display setting has following options.
Heading Up* : To ensure that the driving direction always faces up, the map automati-
cally rotates according to the direction of your car.
North Up : The map is always displayed with North at the top.
Illumination* : You can change the combination of the colors of a map according to
whether the car lights are On or Off.
Day Display : The map is always displayed with bright colors.
On* : Areas to Avoid are displayed on the screen, and these areas are avoided as much as
possible during route calculation.
Off : Areas to Avoid are not indicated, and are not taken into account during route calcu-
tation.
On (Always) : Display tracking dots for all journeys.
On (This journey) :Display tracking dots but erase them when the navigation system is
turned off (when cutting the engine of your car).
Off* : Do not display tracking dots.
