How Do I Adjust the Surround?
Selectable Listen modes
The selected listen mode is variable depending on the input signal.
Input signal Selectable Listen modes
Dolby Digital • Dolby Digital*
• Pro Logic (ProLogic II MUSIC/MOVIE)**
• Stereo
* When the input signal contains the
identification signal indicating Dolby
Surround encoding, The listen mode is
switched automatically to Pro Logic (Pro Logic
II MUSIC/MOVIE).
** Pro Logic (Pro Logic II MUSIC/MOVIE)
can be selected only when the input is 2-
channel signals.

• STEREO
DTS-ES Matrix 6.1 • DTS (DTS-ES Mtrx 6.1*)
• STEREO
*DTS-ES Matrix 6.1 can be selected only
when THX mode is OFF.
DTS-ES Discrete 6.1 • DTS (DTS-ES Dscrt 6.1*)
• STEREO
*DTS-ES Discrete 6.1 can be selected only
when THX mode is OFF.
