MODEL UA860SWB UHF PASSIVE
OMNIDIRECTIONAL ANTENNA
The Shure UA860SWB is a passive wide band UHF omnidirectional
antenna. The UA860SWB is weather resistant and suitable for use
outdoors.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Selecting Cable
Determine the length of cable required to connect the
UA860SWB antenna to a receiver or transmitter. Use only 50
Ω
low-loss cables (RG-8X or equivalent).
Shure recommends the following coaxial cables for mounting
remote antennas:
• UA825 Extension Cable (7.6 m [25 ft])
• UA850 Extension Cable (15.2 m [50 ft])
• UA8100 Extension Cable (30.4 m [100 ft])
NOTE: Shure recommends using the UA830SWB In-Line Amplifier
with gain selector switch, for cable lengths longer than
7.6 m ([25 ft]).
