SPECIFICATION
The mixer shall be 15 in/2 out and shall incorporate 5 mono-
phonic microphone/line input channels and 5 stereo line input
channels. Microphone inputs shall be on balanced XLR connectors;
monophonic line inputs shall be on balanced 1/4
″
tip-ring-sleeve
phone connectors; and stereo line inputs shall be on 1/4
″
phone
connectors. An independent stereo line-level tape input (routed to
channels 14 and 15) shall be on phono connectors. Each channel
shall have a trim control, 2 auxiliary sends, 3-band equalization, a
peak LED (5 dB before clipping) and a gain control. In addition,
monophonic channels shall have a stereo panpot; stereo channels
shall have a left/right balance control.
The mixer shall provide main outputs on balanced 1/4
″
tip-
ring-sleeve phone connectors and a headphone output on 1/4
″
tip-
ring-sleeve phone connectors, as well as aux sends on 1/4
″
phone
connectors and line-level tape outs on phono connectors. Two
stereo Aux returns shall be provided on 1/4
″
phone connectors,
and each shall have independent level and balance controls. Five
channel inserts for the connection of outboard signal processors
shall be on 1/4
″
Tip-Ring-Sleeve phone connectors. Phantom power
of +48 V shall be provided for operation of condenser micro-
phones. Indicators shall be provided for power and +48 V. The
unit shall be of a tabletop type with optional rack-mount ears.
The mixer shall have E.I.N. of -128 dBu (mic) and -131 dBu
(line), THD less than 0.03% and frequency response of ±1.5 dB from
17 Hz to 30 kHz. Dimensions shall be 13.8
″
(350 mm) wide (19
″
wide with optional rack ears), 10.4
″
(264 mm) deep (6 rack
spaces) and 3.2" (82 mm) high. Weight shall be 7.7 lb. (3.5 kg).
The mixer shall carry a one-year warranty.
The mixer shall be a SAMSON MPL 1502.
