To turn off the cooktop
The cooktop can be turned off at any
time.
^ Touch the ON / OFF touch control s
of the cooktop.
This turns off all cooking zones. The re-
sidual heat indicator will light up in the
display of any cooking zone that is still
hot.
Residual heat indicator
After the cooking zones or the cooktop
have been turned off, the residual heat
of the cooking zones which may still be
hot are indicated by three stacked hori-
zontal bars in the display:
The bars go out one after another as
the cooking zones cool down. The last
bar only goes out when the cooking
zones are safe to touch.
If there is an interruption to the
power supply the residual heat indi-
cators will flash on and off.
