Special Radio Features

Selectable Power-Level

This feature allows you to select the power level at which your radio will
transmit messages.

The radio will always turn on to the default setting as determined

through radio service software.

Place the TX Power-Level Switch (if programmed,
see page 2) in the “high-power” position or the “low-
power” position.

High Power = longer transmitting distance;
lessens battery life

Low Power = shorter transmitting distance;
conserves battery life

Note

See page 2
for your
radio’s
feature-
control
programming.
