7.1 Harness Removal

1. Remove harness straps.

See figure 4 on page 18

for more help.
Snap chest clip together.

Remove strap from right

half of chest clip ONLY.
Pull the right strap and

buckle down through right

slot. Then pull completely

up through the left hand

slot

2. Remove crotch strap.

See figures 1-2 on page

18 for more help.

3. Reverse instructions to

reinstall. See figure 2 on

page 31 for the correct

path for the harness.

7.2 Securing Child and Booster

Seat in Vehicle

1. Place car seat firmly

against the back of a

forward-facing vehicle

seat equipped with a

lap/shoulder belt only.

2. If you want to use tether

to hold seat in place,

secure it now. See

Section 8.1 Using the

Tether, page 28.

3. Place child in car seat

with child’s back flat

against back of car seat.
