Thank you for purchasing the Fostex Model COP-1/96k.
The COP-1/96k is a digital signal (sampling frequency: 32kHz~96kHz) conversion adaptor for
converting "Light (OPTICAL) to Coaxial (COAXIAL)" or "Coaxial (COAXIAL) to Light (OPTICAL)."
The COP-1/96k allows you to connect digital equipment with differing digital input and output
connections for digital signal copying*. The COP-1/96k makes it possible to use a DAT recorder
that only has a coaxial digital signal input and output connectors as the master recorder for
use with the Fostex Digital Multitracker.

* Digital copying is not possible if the source material is protected by SCMS.
* Connect the AC adaptor only to a wall outlet that meets the conditions stated in the Specification Chart.

Failure to do so could be extremely dangerous and may result in fire or electric shock.
