Network
Network configuration allows you to define your IP address, Netmask, Gateway and DNS information (if
using static IP). Please consult with your service provider or network administrator for the values that you
need in order to setup your network.
Please call your service provider to identify what type of service they’re providing. You will need to know:
a. Addressing – For determining what scenario you should follow
b. Router On Site or Just Modem – For determining what scenario you should follow
IMPORTANT: Ensure that you verify Internet access after installing any new equipment (routers, hubs, modems, etc.).
If possible, use a PC on a network to verify that an Internet connection can be made and that all current configurations
on any equipment are up and running smoothly. Do this before doing ANY configurations with your DVR.
