3.1. OPERATION

WARNING! Ensure that you read, and fully understand the safety instructions before use.

3.1.1. Charge the battery fully before use.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the torch is turned ‘Off’ whilst charging. Failure to do so will damage the charger plug.

3.1.2. The torch can be charged from the supplied 3 pin mains adaptor (fig.2).

3.1.3. A full charge takes approximatelty 4 hours, allowing up to 2 hours of use.

3.1.4. Whilst charging, a red LED shows in the SMD display; a green LED shows when charged.

3.1.5. As this torch is fitted with a Lithium-ion battery, it can be charged at any time; there is no ‘memory’ effect with this type of battery.

3.1.6 . The first press of the switch (fig.1) illuminates the CREE LED in the end, and one of 5 functions is illuminated “full beam”, “half beam”, “low

beam”, ”flashing” or “SOS”. Switch on and off to go to the next function. The function order remains, but the start function may differ.

3.1.7 The beam focus can be adjusted by holding the bezel and sliding the knurled handle as in (fig.1).

3.1.8 Battery removal/replacement is achieved by holding the knurled handle and unscrewing the end cap as in (fig.3). Note polarity when

replacing.
