2.1.1 Verification via Display

Verify that the option is detected.

1.

Turn on PV and AC connection.

2.

In the display, go to [Setup

→ Calibration].

3.

If the sub-menu “Irradiation sensor”,” Temp
sensor offset” or “S0 sensor input” is listed, then
this confirms the option is installed correctly.

4.

If none of these sub-menus are listed, then the
option is not installed correctly. Actions:

-

Disconnect PV and AC, and open the
cover to the inverter installation area as
described in 1.1 Installation.

-

Check the option is pushed completely
into place and sits firmly with no
movement.

-

Repeat steps 1 to 3.

-

If the sub-menus are still not visible,
contact hotline.

2.1.2 Verification via Web Interface

Verify that the option is detected.

1.

Turn on PV and AC connection.

2.

In the web interface, go to [Setup

→ Calibration].

3.

When the screen in Illustration 2.1 appears, then
this confirms the option is installed correctly.

4.

When the screen in Illustration 2.1 appears with
the message ‘Required option is not installed’,
then the option is not installed correctly.

Actions:

-

Disconnect PV and AC, and open the
cover to the inverter installation area as
described in 1.1 Installation.

-

Check the option is pushed completely
into place and sits firmly with no
movement.

-

Repeat steps 1 to 3.

-

If the message ‘Required option is not
installed’ still appears, contact hotline.

2.2 Setup via Display or Web Interface

To set up the sensors ready for operation,

1.

In the display, go to [Setup

→ Calibration →

Irradiation sensor], [Setup

→ Calibration → Temp

sensor offset], and [Setup

→ Calibration → IS0

sensor input]

2.

In the web interface, go to [Setup

→ Calibration →

Sensors]

3.

Enter the calibration and offset values as
described in Table 2.1.

Description

Irradiation sensor

scale

mV(1000

w/m

2

)

The calibration value of the

irradiation sensor.

The value is usually written on a

label at the back of the sensor.

Note that this value must be

entered before the inverter will

recognise that there is an

irradiation sensor connected.

Irradiation sensor

temp. coeff.

%

Calibration value for internal

temperature correction of the

irradiation measurement. Only

used for irradiation sensors with

integrated temperature compen-

sation.

PV temp. offset

°C

The temperature sensor may be

calibrated using an offset ranging

from

−5.0 to 5.0 °C.

Ambient temp.

offset

°C

The temperature sensor may be

calibrated using an offset ranging

from

−5.0 to 5.0 °C.

S0 scale

pulses/kW

h

In order to use an energy meter

(S0 sensor), the scale of the

energy meter must be entered

here.
